@anvil.anna: @Baileigh Industrial invited me down to @Mackey’s Hot Rod Shop in California for their Metal Fest 2026 to shape some metal and try out some of their machines! It was a blast. Educational demos done by industry experts, followed by time to get our hands dirty using their wide selection of power hammers, English wheels, bead rollers, and more. I saw some incredible talent and some stunning custom cars, and had a chance to work alongside @Chip Foose. He then gave us a tour of his own shop. Hearing the stories behind some of his builds was incredible!! I had no idea what to expect as I’ve never shaped metal like this, and I was blown away at what these machines are capable of. With the guidance of the instructors I was able to shape out hood scoops, motorcycle gas tanks, bead roll some art, and form some panels for a buck. Very different from beating hot steel on an anvil all day, but so much fun to experience a completely new side of metal working. Mad respect for all of you all. @Catskill_Mtn_Customs @Cornfield Customs @Noah Norwood @555 Custom Metal Works, LLC @twisted_metal_signs #metalfest2026#baileigh_industrial #hotrods#customcar#powerhammer

I like watching your posts, however safety glasses don’t work sitting on top of your head. I worry as I worked with someone doing very similar work and a piece of metal went into his eye and now he is blind in that eye. Again love watching you create.
