@jessfinessed: This home already had the beginnings of a strong design story: the architecture, finishes, and a designer’s point of view were there, but the final layer of furniture was never installed. Lucky for this seller, I have a warehouse full of delightful things. Rather than neutralize the rooms for market, I wanted to lean into what was already happening and finish the thought: cool and traditional, collected rather than decorated, with just enough of-the-moment mixed in to make it feel fresh. I think a lot of staging would have gone quiet here. We went the other way. The house wanted personality, so we gave it some. Sometimes more is more! And that tiger chair? It barely made it off the dock from Texas before landing here. I’d been dying to use it, and clearly it was waiting for this room. 🐅 The chair is not for sale. The house, however, is coming soon to The Flat at Beacon Hill with Charlie Ring!
