(ps im editing them to thinking bout you by ariana grande which matvhes further heh). also, all he can do is get slight ‘crumbs’ and he cant claim a whole lot about her, as their past is complicated and tragic, hence why i used the part about him saying he just followed her around and how thats “all there was to it.” furthermore, i used the quote of paimon calling out how he keeps cryptically referring to this companion figure of his, and he uses the excuse of her not traveling anymore as an explanation - which AGAIN is to match the lyrics about how all he can do is recall and speak about her, and he constantly brings her up. “forever is the sweetest con.” the promise of ‘forever’ or for a relationship to last is typically a pretty empty hoax or somewhat of an illusion or placation. its advertised as appealing and as reachable or realistic, and one may believe or fall for it, but in the end it somewhat is a lure into a false sense of security and ends up serving only as an unfulfilled promise. when i heard ‘forever’ i put it in quotes as a nod to how nothing can last eternally (a theme weve also witnessed in inazuma) in terms of remaining stagnant, but the word reminded me of dains curse of immortality which lumine also calls out. so i changed it to ‘immortality’ and then decided to change ‘sweetest con’ to sweetest ‘curse’ so itd match the following quotes that appear, and because i feel it makes sense. recently in the snezhnaya the curse of immortality was initially revealed or referred to as the blessing of immortality, until it later was renamed or deemed as a curse because it is simply a curse in disguise rather than a mercy — it entails witnessing more pain watching the world around than to have a finite end. its in my previous edits too, but the text colors changes from blue to yellow to represent dainlumis color schemes or motifs(?). the ‘hang from my lips’ is specifically just blue to represent dains side. the outro flashes yellow before fading to blue .. maybe like lumines short presence yet impactful impression. also the text at the end being … after he says lumine also is kinda how she doesn’t hold a conversation with him.. oh man im entering finals wish me luck.. i also need to lock in on my art projects and art portfolio theme bc i fell behind after being absent from being unwell - but thats the lowest concern because ill prob be able to handle it but im more scared for studying for my other classes and also doing some other major things so wish me luck! #dainsleif #lumine #GenshinImpact #izxyzzz dainsleif and lumine dainslumi genshin impact ship edit cowboy like me taylor swift
