@jasmineandtea: what i ate in a day ~ I’m leaving korea soon and I need to empty out my fridge before I leave! I spent a month and a half here & bought way too many groceries. breakfast — I tried the hack where you boil tofu in salted water instead of pressing it, and it worked so well! Tear the tofu into pieces & boil in heavily salted water for about 5-6 minutes. Then drain the water, pat dry & pan fry til crispy. I also tossed it in sweet chili sauce for extra flavor. Then I made a side dish of carrot ribbons in kewpie sesame dressing (I’ve been using this nonstop lately). lunch — I love eating raw onions so I paired this with anchovies, lemon, balsamic glaze, parmesan & olive oil. I also made a savory snack plate with all the random leftover ingredients in my kitchen & pantry. dinner — I made pollock roe pasta which is a very popular dish in japan & korea. The taste is creamy, buttery & deeply savory - with tiny pops of flavor from the roe. #tiktokrecipecontest
