The jump you’re describing is the jump from 2nd to 3rd here. My third graders are expected to analyze, cite, and justify their answers for RLA on top of typing these responses. 😅

All of that is so true. Ours go from 2 20 minute recesses to 1 15 minute and class size 22-24 to 32. It is wild!

I give a letter out every year at Open House explaining the jump. So many parents think because third is the first EOG thats where the biggest jump is.
