Outside of the names, rings, and lanterns, what the hell does Lanterns have to do with Green Lantern? The characters and relationships are barely recognizable—and THEY NEVER EVEN SUIT UP. How do you make a Green Lantern show and leave out the damn Green Lanterns? The actors are too old for these versions of the characters. Hal Jordan helped FOUND the Justice League, but here he looks old enough to be Superman’s dad. I’m tired of people thinking their “artistic spin” is what fans came to see. The comics already ARE a great artistic vision. We want those characters and stories brought to life. There’s no secret formula: respect the characters, put them in their suits, and follow the damn source material. This is why I have so little faith in a DC cinematic universe. They keep hiring people determined to reinvent everything we loved. Give us someone with the balls to embrace the comics instead of treating them like something that needs fixing. 🤦🏼‍♂️
