I made a life with an absolutely beautiful young woman, she was 21 when I met her but she was sick and her Dr told her if she didn't have a surgery she probably wouldn't see 25 she didn't have any insurance for that surgery and hearing that hurt more than I could say she was beautiful and funny and I don't want to be with her and watch her die over insurance so I made her a offer if she would marry me I had very good insurance and we could get her the surgery done and if she didn't want to be married after that we could get divorced with no issues and she could live a long healthy life she turned my offer down I told her ok and left for a out of state job but I told her if she changes her mind the office still stands about 6 months later she called me and asked if still wanted to get married I told her yes we set a date and got married she had the surgery and her post op test showed her she was free and clear and could enjoy the rest of her life I was very happy for her and I reminded her that she was not obligated to stay married if she didn't want to be that was 37 years ago and I truly thought we were going to stay together for the rest of our lives but I was wrong I retired in 2021 and things started to change little things then one morning she was getting ready for work and as she was getting ready to go out the door I gave her a hug and a kiss and told her to have a great day and that's the last time I saw her not a word for 6 days when I got a text from her telling me she is never coming back that's what bork me I gave her everything she ever wanted but when I retired in her mind I no longer had any value that's why I went dark and ugly and took awhile for me to see anything about myself that was worth fighting for but I'm still here inspite of her life isn't perfect but it's getting better every day I wake up and keep moving forward 🙏 💯
