It’s also works as a line if you acknowledge the discourse is always about her being a horrible human aka the Albatross. A hypothesis could be that her ex started to agree with the wider social narrative and throw that back in her face for example the lines in Your Losing Me such as “I wouldn’t marry me either, a pathological people pleaser”.
