What exactly is so scary about mermaids ? We grew up with the tales of their adventures.. so why are people scared of them ? Anyway.. this guy missed 2 opportunities to make money and never fish again .. when they came to see him.. he should have told them everything at a very high price.. why not ? Information sells .. and when he found the mermaids hair .. I am sure there are some people who would pay to have that hair examined or collect ..! Soon mermaids won’t be a novelty anymore.. it will be on the news and everywhere.. they won’t be able to hide their existence for long ..😁😁

I've never heard of the word Mamiwata but mermaids and South Africa checks out. Anyone who lives in rural areas with access to a river can tell you somethings but most are not willing to talk.

Was this in Durban? North Beach to be exact? I used to go swim there at night until that voice (that sounded like a thought) commanded me to come into the deep. It was the darkest experience of my life. I said “no” and I ran for my life. I stopped going to swim at night from that day. These creatures are fuckin’ real.

I have had one encounter with a mermaid and I didn't actively see her.I heard her and she called my name.A few days before,my mom said in the shallow water she saw wat she said looked like a giant fish thing.It was playing in the waves.Of course I was like that could be a dolphin mom.She said I Kno wat a dolphin looks like.When she called my name that day the sea rose a few feet in seconds.I also got smacked in my back.The sea after that for months took over the shoreline and man o war jellyfish invaded.I always wonder how do they Kno your name?
