so when my eldest was on the way had nowhere to live my dad took me in and charged me a small amount of rent out of my (at the time) unemployment (the baby caused me to lose my job). I thought it was snide at first. until I secured my own place literally a few weeks before baby arrived and he gave it me back, every penny, and took my buy a pram and everything for the baby. he knows I'm crap at saving. I'll be forever grateful. she's 12 now and had a younger brother and weve lived in our current place since 2018.
