@baltimorebanner: President Donald Trump gave remarks at Tradepoint Atlantic, where weapons maker Anduril Industries announced it will build a 2 million-square-foot submarine manufacturing facility that’s expected to create thousands of jobs. Over 30 minutes of remarks, Trump touched on a lot. He opened by talking about Venezuela and Iran, emphasized his renaming of the “Gulf of America,” while also applauding tariffs and U.S. military strength. At times he touted the new Anduril facility and talked up the return of shipbuilding to Sparrows Point. Notably, the president did not take a political swipe at Gov. Wes Moore, nor did he comment on the rebuilding of the Francis Scott Key Bridge. “Our country is doing better than it’s ever done before,” Trump said. “We’re the envy of the world, and we’re going to keep it that way.” Link in bio to read more.
