I worked at a country club when I was 19, and the club members (men) would keep making passes and touching me, I went to my supervisor about it and she said honey they do it to all of us. She acted like it was not a big deal. Well, I didn't think it was appropriate and them not to do it. They got upset and reported me to my supervisor. My supervisor came to and said you need to go with the flow. We all do it that's how we make our tips. I mentioned it to some of my coworkers to see how they felt. They all went with the flow because they liked the tips and they would even hook up with these men and make money.... I floored by this. That they didn't think anything is wrong with it. I said I am not on board with this and the next thing I know my supervisor came to me and said you a really sweet girl but your not integrating in, so we are going to have to let you go. So I got Fired. I was upset about that but after all was said and done... it was god protecting me my mom said.

This one is crazy. I female server away at college 22. 2 men came in very flirty. They lived near my Moms furniture store so I told them her name and the store so maybe they would buy something. A week later im sitting at home phone rings. Man says im calling for Janice Last name. I was confused said she doesn't live here. He said No Im calling for Janice. He said she broke down on the road and we have her. If you do what we say she won't get hurt. I hung up. Called right back saying if I hung up again they would harm her. I sat in silence terrified. He told me to go to my bedroom. I hung up called my mom. she answered thank Jesus. Just then a car with blacked out windows came screaming down the street going the wrong way on a one way street and stopped in front of my house. I held up my boyfriends 9mm and they took off. Cops came said the number was not traceable. If I didn't have that 9mm I don't know what would have happened. this was in 1995

I had one that kept saying inappropriate things to me. My manager did just like you said. He’s a regular. Just ignore him. Well, after the third time he hit on me, I had the bartender make a Bloody Mary, then I “accidentally” spilled it all over his suit. He wanted an apology, I told him to kick rocks. I was fired, worth it!

when I was serving at cb I had a regular be very inappropriate with me multiple times. I complained and it was always "well he spends a lot of money here." When he started stalking me i made a police report, took it to my manager, mentioned an attorney and suddenly they were ready to handle the situation.

I worked at a restaurant where a regular was just excused as being a “dirty old man” but a manager lost and threatened to ban him one day when he grabbed a teenage server’s ass. Elderly people are often excused for bad behavior more than kids are and they should know better, especially if they’re in their 60s or older.

it all starts at home what I mean by that is parents need to teach their boys at a young age that behavior like that is unacceptable in public when parents excuse their kids behavior they eventually become adults and continue that same behavior and see nothing wrong with it because they were never held accountable from the beginning and that's why some schools are having issues because of behavior like this

every serving job ive had theres always been atleast 1 regular thats a creep but the one that stands out the most to me is when i was 22 serving at a local place not even a block away from my house they had something that cops that came in in uniform got 50% off their bill so we had these 4 local town cops that came in atleast 2x a week & the 1 always would harrass me, make weird comments, whistle when im walking by TO OTHER TABLES! & not one of the other 3 officers ever did or said anything about it.. got to a point where i was bringing out their food one day & he pulled on the bottom of my skirt and said "this is cute, probably look cuter off(or on the ground some bullshit like that)" i went to the owner about it & bc he was friends with these local town cops he said ohh dont worry about it hes just messing with you😳 i was pissed
