@thesameerproject: There is too much loss. Too much pain. Too many families in Gaza forced to begin again with nothing. On October 4, a family was sitting inside their tent at Al-Weam Camp in Nuseirat when flames engulfed it. Everything they had managed to carry through displacement after displacement was destroyed in minutes. They barely escaped with their lives. The father was injured. Imagine surviving so much, holding on to so little, and then watching even that burn. The Sameer Project responded with a dome tent, a food parcel, kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies, and two mattresses. The emergency assistance cost $729 after commission of 11%, providing shelter and basic necessities to a family left with nothing. But we cannot keep showing up without funding. When a tent burns, a family cannot wait for donations to recover. They need somewhere to sleep that night. Donate to our General Fund through the link in our bio. Help us be there to support families through their worst days.
