Chemist here. I have a genuine scientific question regarding this. Wouldn’t occlusion of the skin by a diaper cream containing approximately 40–50% paraffin increase hydration and permeability of the stratum corneum, potentially enhancing the penetration of tretinoin and azelaic acid into the skin? If so, couldn’t this also increase the risk of irritation, somewhat similarly to applying these active ingredients to damp skin, which can enhance their penetration? Thanks Abby!

How do you get it off in the morning? I tried Triple Paste 40% Zinc and took forever to wash off in the morning.

I had a non ablative fraxel laser last Nov and still have white mark scarring on forehead I have to reduce. Should i use axelaic acid w/my tretinoin. I onky have 10 percent ajd no change using it to date. Actual prequel and dr Murad scar cream has helped. Please assist- 60 and do not want to be dealing w this. Probably need another procedure. What is this whitish thick skin like scar layer? Thanks!
