So if she has the mutated MCR1 gene (red head) I know there are issues with how we process medications especially anesthesia and pain medicine. So it may be a combination of that, plus blown out veins and dehydration, plus faulty IV insertion or catheter and possibly there was an issue with the medication given to her. That is all I can deduce that would make sense. I think this situation needs to be studied to prevent future issues like this from occurring. I personally do not agree with the death penalty, but if it is going to be done it needs to be effective. Especially because this is actively causing mental anguish to the victim's family.
