@mommagabb0: Go ahead and chew me out, I can take it I might do things a little differently but I'd do it the same way again and again! * don't wake up before my kids Usually anyway... and honestly l'd love to because I'm a morning person but if I try to sneak out of bed one of the two littles in it are going to wake up and be grumpy so what's the point! * I don't make separate meals. Everyone will eat what I make. I'm not making anyone nuggets. Don't like it? Grab a banana or cheese stick. With that being said, I don't make meals MOST of us won't eat. And I try to always incorporate something everyone likes, like sourdough or rice. # I don't make screen time a bad thing. We use it as a useful and intentional tool. Sometimes I need a little break during the day or a minute to get something done, and I'm not going to feel guilty about that. If it's low-stimulation and calming like the Pok Pok app, I'm absolutely utilizing that bad boy every day. + I don't have rigid schedules. I stay home and homeschool them to allow them to be kids as long as possible. We have routines but they are loose. Everyone wakes naturally and we start lessons after they've had a hot breakfast and a chance to run around. We love an impromptu play date and aren't worried about derailing any "schedule." # I don't play with my kids. Don't come for me, I know this one is controversial. I mean I'm not going to sit and talk for barbies lol. I'll gladly build a tower, color or help them build a fort. Otherwise they are just using their imagination together all day long. I don't lead play or entertain. * I don't over schedule. I think being home is ok!!!! I don't think kids need every single day booked and busy. I think quite the opposite actually.
