My husband’s place has a policy if you cancel less than 24 hours you pay 100% for the appointment. (If it’s an emergency they will give a 1 time grace)

question. could you not just set it up so it takes payment upon booking. and then give a 3 day movement/cancellation policy. specifically for him not all. yes it's overkill but if he is an "ok guy". He can either choose to receive the financial penalty or move on himself. they you're not at higher risk of negative reviews. then over time, with less cancellations, reduce the lead time. as a guy, we can be trained 😂
