She knew what she was doing [Crying][Crying][Crying] this genuinely makes me feel like we need to have more people who are legitimate fans of the series that they’re making into movies be a part of them because they really know the lore and have love and respect for it

🎐 :

alrighty then

swaglord.anna :

yall clearly haven’t read the books to understand the significance of the dress. Maysilee was one of the first outwardly resistant characters against the capitol and she was the original owner of the mockingjay pin. Maysilee was supposed to be a katniss but the capitol murdered her bc she killed a game maker. And even katniss compares herself to maysilee when she talks about her and peeta’s alliance being similar to haymitch and maysilee.

eva. 🐈‍⬛🦌 :

imagine maysilee did wear a dress similar to that one, and all haynitch could think of was her when he saw katniss dress

★ :

This isn’t a parallel they’re literally just standing next to each other for a photo😭

wow I love her

Bbjoyboy03 :

Obviously it’s wings bruh all the books are themed after birds for one, Kathiss is the Mocking Jay (a bird) and when she spins and the dress lights on fire she literally gets a full set of wings, like a bird
