My cousin would go through the drive through at Tim Hortons with a reusable cup and put some alcohol in it and give it to the person at the window to put coffee in it on his way to work. One time the person at the drive through poured it out, and he COMPLAINED ON FACEBOOK. Openly admitting he has been drinking and driving and going to work (blue collar job) with alcohol in his system. Got himself fired 🤪. He WAS famously dumb in the family.

I once had a boyfriend who only rinsed his mugs with cold water. They were disgusting. Once he made me a coffee in a mug shaped like R2D2 and a piece of mold floated up from one of the legs. It was fucked

not quite the same, but I work in a health food store with bulk cleaning products, and people regularly bring in dirty dish soap, laundry containers etc. The worst is when they want to refill a toilet bowl cleaner. AND WAIT YOU KNOW WHAT I'm never dealing with that again, I'm going to raise a stink (pun maybe intended) about this, there is no reason we should have to do that

Not exactly related, but I had a lady come BACK to the restaurant today with her leftover box. She says, "Hi! We were here earlier, and we're just doing some shopping. Could you guys put this in your fridge and we'll come back to get it later?" Oh the audacity! No, your germs are on it, we will not be putting that in our walk in, health code violation. Just why?

My grandma offered me a drink from her water bottle once, but when I took it from her, I saw that it was all moldy, so I said, "Grandma! Yuck!" and she said, "Well, it's my yuck." So, she was ok with drinking her own mold germs I guess. 🤣🤢

Had this a lot at P Bread. We had to put up signs we wouldn't take dirty cups back. People complained to corporate who luckily agreed with us. 😬 One lady handed me a cup with cig ashes and she said that how prefers her coffee 🫣

I felt so so bad one day cos I had my keep cup that I had a coffee in from earlier in the morning (mind u it was still morning- and it was freshly cleaned before I used it that morning) and I wasnt going to give it, j was just gonna have a paper one. the barista offered, and after I told her it had coffee in it she said she'd rinse it and wasnt fussed about it. I felt so bad but she was no nice

I have had this exact conversation with people FAR too many times. and it's always the people who are dressed the most "professional" who have the filthiest mugs (and the most entitled expectations that you will do their dishes for them)
