@michal.moriah: I started painting this with an image in my mind of the Beis Hamikdash. Surrounded by life, Gan Eden, flowers growing wildly around it, pomegranates, vines reaching toward the heavens, and a path leading to the one place we’ve been praying to return to for thousands of years. As we remember October 7, that idea of home carries so much more weight. So much has happened to Am Yisrael. There has been so much pain and so much loss. And still, we keep growing. We keep creating. We keep praying. We keep believing that darkness isn’t where our story ends. & that’s what this painting is for me. A glimpse of home, a glimpse of what is to come on the other side of everything we’ve been through. One day, we won’t have to paint the Beis Hamikdash from imagination. One day, we won’t have to wonder what it would feel like to stand there. May we all merit to see the real Beis Hamikdash in person, together, very soon. 🙏 #Judaism #JewishTok #art
