@poshandpetite: Okay cousins, I need y’all to help me decide because I keep going back and forth 😭 Option A or Option B for the kitchen floors? One is snap-together walnut laminate, and I actually found it at the Habitat ReStore, so it would be cheaper than the sheet flooring I was originally considering. And y’all know we’re renovating 1969 on a budget! So… A or B? Tell me which one you’d choose and WHY because I’m reading the comments before I make a decision. #Welcomebackto1969 #BRtok #Homerenovation #family

Vinyl will be more durable for a kitchen. A liquid spill or leak could easy ruin the laminate even if it claims to be waterproof.

I'm obsessed with the checkered BUT if you go with it don't waste your time or money with the vinyl, think long term and do tile. If you do go with the wood you can always add checkered accents to the decor and still fill that void.

B cousin! it has such a nice classic look that feels like it honors the original home without looking dated.

B. More options to change accents throughout the seasons and if you ever decide to paint the cabinets in 5 to 10 years you will not have to redo the flooring.

it's beautiful but can you *wash* the walnut? we have a snap floor I love but it bubbles at the edges/seams if it gets wet.

I've always wanted a green kitchen 😍 A is my choice though. It gives the perfect vintage look with a pop/character. The walnut flooring seems bland. It would be cute for the other areas of the house though, just keep the checkered vinyl in the bathrooms or "wet" areas, if that makes sense
