TERRELL OWENS IS NOW BEING SUED BY THREE OF THE BOYS CONNECTED TO THE NOLAN WELLS CASE, AND I’M SORRY, BUT THIS LAWSUIT MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE TO ME! According to the federal complaint filed in Mississippi, Benjamin Warren Hudson Jr., Eli Jax Pitalo and Morgan Seymour, through their fathers, are suing Terrell Owens after he shared a post concerning the case and wrote, “Arrest them now. All of them.” Now here’s where MY OPINION comes in because people have been deep-diving the Nolan Wells case since Nolan first went missing! People have investigated the friends, their parents, their grandparents, pictures, videos, timelines, local officials, judges, the district attorney and even the way the Mississippi court system has handled this case. There are STILL people posting about this case multiple times a DAY, with some videos getting hundreds of thousands or even MILLIONS of views. Yet Terrell Owens shares ONE post that reportedly received around 140,000 views, and HE’S the one getting sued?! WHY?! In MY OPINION, this feels frivolous and like going after the biggest NAME instead of the people who have spent MONTHS actually dissecting every single aspect of these families’ lives. And yes, I personally question whether the attention surrounding a lawsuit against a celebrity could bring additional public sympathy, attention or even donations to people connected to this case, but that’s MY SPECULATION and not something I’m claiming the lawsuit itself proves. Because if the concern is truly the damage caused by people publicly accusing or scrutinizing these boys, then why does the energy appear to be focused on the celebrity who SHARED a post instead of all the creators who have been doing extensive deep dives since JULY?! Terrell Owens didn’t create this public conversation. He stepped into a conversation that was already happening EVERYWHERE. Obviously, the plaintiffs have every right to bring their claims and Terrell Owens will have the opportunity to defend himself, but from where I’M sitting, suing the celebrity who shared a post while countless other people continue picking this case apart every single day just doesn’t add up to me.
