@notalleywayyy: ❌Peking duck bao ✅braised eel bao This is xi hu, a jiangnan / regional chinese restaurant in the lower east side of/ Houston street. They serve delicious authentic chinese bites. We ordered a bunch of food: 💫many people usually get Peking duck, but now it’s your chance to try something different like eel! It’s super saucy and thin. The wrapping is light and the sprouts bring a nice crunch. Have all 3 and it’s a yummy bite 😋 💫yellow croaker with rice cakes was very good. The fish is huge with plenty of juices and sauce. The rice cakes are also plump and one big spoonful will give you allllll the happiness! 🐟 💫kafu is on the saltier side which just means it’s been marinated much longer. This is a traditional wheat gluten dish 💫pea shoots were very good. Make sure to get this dish with the broth so the veggies soak up all the juices 🫛 💫soup dumplings were good! not something you can go wrong here. 🥟 💫winter is coming… get these two hot chinese desserts - brown sugar mochi and tangyuan! Thanks for having us 🩵 #jiangnan #chinesefood #nyceats #nycfood
