Quick little lunch date at 📍Buster’s OG BBQ & Grill in Ventura, CA. 🤤🔥 I’ve been on a BBQ kick lately, and we knew exactly where to come! I love that Buster’s really is that OG spot in Ventura. We’ve been coming here for years, and it’s one of those nostalgic places that holds so many memories — coming here with coworkers, family, and now some of my closest friends. ❤️ The menu is HUGE, and I love how many different protein and meat options they have. Their meats are fired up daily and cooked low and slow to perfection. There’s clearly a lot of love that goes on behind the scenes to get that BBQ from the grill to your plate. We really FEASTED this trip and got a little bit of everything! 😂 From the large sampler plates to all the sides and fixings… insert food coma here. 🫠 This was my kind of lunch date: BBQ + gossip + good friends. 😇 Our favorites of the day were definitely the medium-rare tri-tip — and yes, you can ask them to cook it to your preference — the hot links, and the roasted chicken. Their BBQ sauce is sweet and mild, but if you like a little more punch, go with the half-and-half. My friends said that one packed some serious spice! 🌶️ And we’ve always been suckers for their garlic butter bread loaf. 🤤 We could literally eat their macaroni salad by the pound — it’s hands down our favorite side here. Our whole table was raving about it the entire meal! If you love supporting old-school gems and family-run businesses here in the 805, you absolutely cannot forget about 📍Buster’s OG BBQ & Grill.
