Today, I want to share a very personal and emotional moment with you: the day I was reunited with my family after a particularly dangerous humanitarian mission. ❤️ What many people don’t realize is that behind every humanitarian journey I take, there is a mother who worries, who prays, and who waits for her son to come home. Like any mother, mine carries that fear in her heart. Because the places we travel to are sometimes extremely dangerous, and every departure comes with a difficult reality: the possibility that one day, I might never come back. That is why this reunion was so emotional. For my family and for me, being able to hold each other again, knowing I had returned home safely, and thanking Allah for bringing us back together was an indescribable blessing. But behind all those tears, there was another beautiful reason to celebrate… During one of my humanitarian missions, my mother had made a decision that deeply touched my heart: she had decided to start wearing the hijab. 🤍 So now you can understand why this moment meant so much to us. Those tears were a mixture of relief that I had returned alive, happiness at being reunited, and overwhelming joy at seeing my mother take this beautiful step in her faith. Two reasons to cry, but above all, two beautiful reasons to thank Allah. Alhamdulillah for life, for family, for faith, and for every precious moment Allah allows us to share together. May Allah protect all our mothers, grant them long lives filled with health and faith, and allow us to cherish and honor them while they are still with us.🤲🏽❤️
