@lyssthepawfairy: Yes, June is only ONE year old — and she is now facing euthanasia. She is lucky to still be alive while so many of the dogs around her have been heartlessly euthanized this week. June is still a puppy. She has spent much of her young life in the shelter, and unfortunately, when she was adopted, her family did not understand the importance of decompression. She was thrown into a home and introduced to the resident dogs far too quickly. That situation ultimately failed her, and now her life is at risk because of it. But June is not a bad dog. June has done well playing with other dogs and simply needs someone willing to help her learn how to navigate life. She has barely had the opportunity to experience the world outside of a shelter kennel. She needs patience, structure, proper introductions, and someone willing to give her the time she deserves. She is only ONE. She should not lose her life because the humans around her failed to understand what she needed. Her situation is extremely dire. If you can foster, adopt, rescue, or help network June, please DM me immediately. Please don’t let June become another dog we have to mourn.
