Here’s my reasoning to support the universe 6 saiyans needing to be weaker. You see, a lot of people believe their strength not to be so ridiculous because they existed in an identical time-cosmology so their universe has essentially be alive the exact same amount of time as universe 7. The problem with this is the drastic differences between the stakes of both saiyans. Universe 7 saiyans all had to basically experience an ego-death in order to unlock super saiyan, in fact, in 1000 years not a single saiyan had unlocked this form excluding the non-canon Broly. So it’s realistic to say you also had to be a genius in some sort of sense (Gohan is a natural at everything due to his half bred nature and innate talent, Goku is also extremely talented and is a martial arts genius as well as a tactical genius, Vegeta is a tactical, martial artist, and logical genius but his pride may interject, which was actually the catalyst for his saiyan transformation). The only people that have been known to innately have these forms down are Trunks and Goten, likely due to Goku being much more powerful than when he had Gohan, so they were born with more innate talent (only reasonable explanation for them unlocking ssj while still being half saiyans like Gohan). None of the universe 6 saiyans 1. Experienced Frieza or a similar situation as a catalyst for their increased strength, and were inherently a much more peaceful race (meaning less zenkai boosts and stressors to cause ssj) and 2. Even knew what a ssj was before meeting universe 7. None of them were half-breeds either, so their inherent talent is unexplainable. Because of their constantly peaceful environment, it should reasonably be much more difficult for them to unlock ssj (other than Kale, bc she’s the lssj of that universe). Cabbas transformation was very lackluster, all Vegeta had to do was get him mad (he’s a literal bodyguard, has his planet, people, or namesake never been threatened before in his life? That’s the only way he’d never have already unlocked ssj up until then, even as a WARRIOR). Kale and Caulifla actually have a BETTER explanation for their transformation, despite what people what to say (but it sort of
