I guess I just don’t get the infantilization of older men pretending to dance on a tv show and it’s received as “he’s doing his best! He’s so cute! He’s adorable!” When come to think of it- as an avid DWTS watcher I never saw this kind of response to a woman their same age. Let alone the response of KEEPING them week after week?

I don’t get why people do this??? Like why do they infantilization grown ass men?? Like if they could they would send men like Andy and Guillermo to the final and even WIN the whole show because “they are so cute and entertaining” like what??? It just feels demeaning for the other contestants because no matter how good they are they will get eliminated because they are not an elderly man that is “cute” 🙄🙄.
