@a_mothers_cry: A 37 year old Texas mother is facing multiple felony charges after police say she stabbed her husband and her two young children inside their Northlake home. Police responded to the home after the children’s father called 911 and reported that his wife, identified as Holly Leeann Flores, had a knife and had stabbed him. Officers arrived within minutes and detained Flores. During a protective sweep of the home, officers discovered that two young children had also been injured. The children, a 3 year old girl and a 10 month old boy, were both found with stab wounds to their chests. Their 34 year old father had suffered a stab wound to his head. The father and both children were transported to a Fort Worth area hospital for treatment. Northlake Police Chief Robert Crawford said the children’s injuries did not appear to be life-threatening and that he expected both children to survive. The husband’s injury was also reported as non life threatening. Flores was also taken to a hospital for treatment and observation before being released and booked into the Denton County Jail. According to police, Flores is facing two counts of attempted capital murder and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Investigators have not announced a motive for the alleged attack. Police also revealed that officers had been called to the residence approximately five times since March, primarily for welfare concerns. Chief Crawford did not provide additional details about those previous calls, saying the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities have not publicly explained what led to the confrontation or what happened immediately before the stabbing. The investigation is continuing and the allegations against Flores have not been proven in court.
