My Dad wouldnt do that much with me he would just go Drink with his friends over the weekend my friends parents taught me a lot and i taught myself a lot of stuff i still love my Dad with all my heart

My dad taught me about tough times, WWII, working in the coal mines growing up on a ranch with 6 siblings. The most important thing he told me was “a quitter never wins and a winner never quits!” I remind my kids of this whenever they feel down with their job! They can talk to me about anything and that keeps our relationship alive!!!

Never had a father until a couple years ago learned everything on my own till that point and some man comes along that my mom starts dating, never thought anything of it thought it was gonna be the same as always. He sure showed me how wrong I was learned so much from a man that barely knew me wasn’t even his own, and at this point I’m not even a kid I’m 18. So thankful for him don’t know where I would be without him I’m grateful to call him my father.

Luckily I had one hell of an uncle to teach me just about everything that I know today. Would’ve loved for it to be my dad but I wouldn’t trade the memories that me and my uncle made for anything🙏🏻
