This is why personally I would never work with family. There's always room for this type of "familial insubordination." She wouldn't talk to her boss like this anywhere else, but she thinks it's ok now because this boss is "just her aunt." She needs to learn to respect the new dynamics of their working relationship or the experience of being fired from her first real job will do it for her.
