when I was in my 7th and 8th grade of English the word 'Milk' was banned bc one kid kept saying 'Milk' and 'Mommy Milkers' during it and we would be off topic for the rest of the period. He was also the kid that wrote a story about Elves being 'punished' in 'Santa's Secret Sex Chambers' 😭😭😭😭😭😭

I'm a Pre-k teacher. I took away birthdays😂 they started using it as a threat to each "well your not invited to my birthday party" I told them no more birthdays. If I hear it again I'm calling your parents and telling them you can't have a party anymore

Years ago my nanny kids wanted to play family. The 8 year old wanted to be the mom and we were her kids. Turns out she was a single mom of 5 and felt ready to get out there and start dating again. “And DON’T EVEN ASK about calling your father, I do not want to hear one word about THAT MAN” 🤣 Mind you, she lived in a household with happily married parents. had to ban diddy with my middle schoolers. also have had to ban the phrase “shut up” because they’d just yell it at people when they got frustrated; we’re working on appropriate communication when we’re mad 😅 over the summer for camp, if you said the phase, you lost a minute of swimming for each letter of it 🤷♀️
