You're supposed to give milk first, wait a while, and then offer solids. Idk what everyone else is saying about milk after. Bottle/milk first, wait an hour or so, then offer solids.

As a first time mom I wouldn’t have known this either. Everything is basically trial and error and everyone in the comments saying “you should have known” is not needed. Obviously she is learning and may not have had anyone to tell her. You’re doing a great job mama!!! 🫶🏻

i mean if he drinks half a gallon and then try to give him purées uh yea… gonna happen. i have a HORRIBLE reflux baby. but it’s never been THIS bad. at ALL. he’s almost 14 months. and still spits up everything. including solids. but this baby was FULL

that looks like an entire 8oz bottle he jus threw up.. my son eats an entire jar of baby food (he loves it) then MAYBE a 3-4oz bottle after IF he wants it

Tried starting at 4.5m, he gagged every time and threw up. (We’d wait for milkies until after because of this.) Went into a hard regression at 8m old. He’s now 10m old and loves purées. HATES anything chunky so much he’ll vomit; other than lightly smashed bananas. Any time he starts to gag I offer water and he slurps it down no problem before asking for another bite/spoonful. Babies eat on their own timeframe for solids when they’re ready. 😂
