@riversidelandmarktrading: In 1966, 18-year-old Cheri Jo Bates, a Riverside City College student and Ramona High School graduate, was murdered near the RCC campus. Her case later became associated with theories involving the Zodiac Killer, but no connection has ever been conclusively proven, and Cheri’s murder remains unsolved. This story also hits close to home for me because Cheri attended Ramona High School and RCC, the same schools I attended, and the home she lived in at the time is right down the street from my childhood church. 📍 Part 2: I’ll be visiting the Riverside locations connected to Cheri’s life and case while remembering that at the center of this story was a young woman whose family never received the answers they deserved. 🍊🔔 Follow Riverside Landmark Trading for more daily Riverside history, landmarks and local stories. #fyp #riverside #riversideca #zodiac #riversidecounty

Yes, it does. I live right there in that area born and raised. I went to La Sierra high school one of Nora Vista’s rivals back in the day. My son went to RCC.
