I want to say about 3 to 4 years ago at least they released a different type of mosquito that was supposed to breed with the local mosquitoes to help with the population control of the mosquitoes themselves. It was supposed to be like a breeding program to help make it so only the mail mosquito was was likely to be born. In my opinion, they made a fucking nightmare mosquito out of it.

it's mostly the ankle bitters, they are kinda new to the area and don't need much water to breed, they are probably breeding in the small puddles of water caused by the ACs running all summer.

girl please!!! why does everyone in California have the memory of a goddamn goldfish, we have ALWAYS had mosquitoes it has ALWAYS been a problem yes I'm mad because I have 4, count them 4 mosquitoes bites on my feet! 1 on my arch 2 on a foot bone and another on my big toe and don't get me started on the bites on the rest of my body but yes this is beyond normal!
