@michelley_ellsworth: Often at times in Grief, we try to push it aside push it down ignore it and be strong through it. The more you resist how you feel the more nagging it becomes. The best way through it is to feel it and to let it pass. You do not have to be strong. In fact, being strong is allowing yourself to feel it. #griefjourney #griefhealing #grievingmom #bereavedmother #griefandloss
My son passed 12 years ago and this year he would have turned 30 he passed when he was 17. This Birthday kicked my butt.

I lost my son aged 18 in 2020 and it still doesn’t feel real. I feel like I’m living a pretend life everyday. I started sky diving because that’s what he did for his 18th and got my sky diving license this year. I did it because he couldn’t and he wanted too. I love it - would never have done without losing him. I feel connected to him everytime I jump out that plane xx

That would n between feeling of being sad and happy at the same time. I have learned not to hold in what I feel. I miss my son. But I see him in his twin and his other siblings. I feel him everyday and miss him at the same time. Everyday has been different and I take it all in. Then I release it.
