Whenever I see a kid-friendly recipe on the internet, my first thought is… but will my kids actually eat that? 😂 So we’re putting another one to the test! This week on Will They Eat It? I made Hawaiian roll ham + cheese sliders, with inspo from recipes by @onmykidsplate and @thekitchn I took a little from each and made my own version! Hawaiian Roll Ham + Cheese Sliders For the sliders: * 1 package Hawaiian sweet rolls * 12 slices deli ham * 12 slices Swiss cheese For the sauce inside: * ¼ cup mayonnaise * ½ tsp paprika * 1 tsp parsley * ½ tsp onion powder For the topping: * 4 tbsp melted butter * 1 tbsp Dijon mustard * 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce * ½ tsp onion powder * ¼ tsp salt * 1 tsp poppy seeds Slice the rolls in half and layer with ham and cheese. Mix the mayo, paprika, parsley, and onion powder and spread it inside the rolls. Mix the melted butter, Dijon, Worcestershire, onion powder, and salt and brush over the tops. Sprinkle with poppy seeds. Cover and bake at 350°F for about 20 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 7–8 minutes until golden brown. I REALLY thought these were going to be a win. My kids love Hawaiian rolls. They love ham and cheese sandwiches. This felt like a slam dunk. It was not. 😂 ⭐ Will They Eat It? Score: 1 out of 4 But kids are weird, and sometimes something they won’t touch one day is suddenly their favorite the next, so I’ll probably give these another shot another day. And if you have a recipe your kids LOVE, drop it in the comments so I can try it and see if my kids will eat it too! Follow along because next week I’m trying another recipe! #kidmeals #kidlunch #lunchbox #millennialmom #mealideas
