@kimlightupyourface: One thing nobody warned me about with makeup over 50? Our faces can start to hollow out a little as we lose volume through the cheeks and mid-face. And that means the makeup placement we used for years may suddenly be working AGAINST us. If your face is looking more hollow, try this: ✨ Keep your bronzer and contour higher on the cheekbones instead of pulling them down into the hollows. ✨ Add just a TAD of foundation or concealer slightly lighter than your main foundation shade right underneath. ✨ Blend everything softly UP. That little bit of light against the higher bronzer placement can create the illusion of lift and fuller cheekbones without carving out the face so much that we start looking skeletal. 😂 At 56, my approach to mature skin makeup is less product, smarter placement.
