After 6 years of being helplessly in love we officially cut contact completely a little while ago, he fell out of love with me, and I know that he’s doing okay, but I still feel like I’ve just fallen in love, I’m not sure how to deal with this kind of loss, like I can’t really fathom a life without him, I keep seeing things and thinking “oh he’d find this funny” or “oh he’d love this” and then I remember that he’s no longer here with me to see it, I feel like it’s the simple things like that that hurt the most, I’ll never be able to share life’s simple pleasures with him again, and for him that’s okay

I'm the one having to cut a tie, and it honestly feels horrible. Like you know you love a person but you also know that they aren't good for you and do bad things so you have to leave, it's rough. I'm saying goodbye to a year and a half of talking to the same person every day, and we all know that never leaves your heart.
