I'm personally not a huge fan of locking everything inside retirement accounts. Not because they're bad. Because I value flexibility. If most of my wealth is in a regular brokerage account, I can potentially access liquidity without immediately selling the underlying assets. That matters if I need capital for: a property, taxes, a business opportunity, or something unexpected. "How do I create financial freedom at 40, 45, and 50?" That doesn't mean borrowing against investments is risk-free. Rates can rise. Markets can fall. And leverage can become dangerous quickly. So I don't think there's one universally better account.
