I still don't know why we (Ontario) gave him 3 majority governments and still isn't close to losing. you said it right Doug Ford is public enemy number 1.

I was on OSAP before Ford, I can assure you, I couldn't afford anything considered luxury. After tuition, books, rent, bills, I would barely have enough to feed myself. If my dad hadn't helped me, I don't think I could have done it.

I went to a private college to fast track a program, my whole osap went to school we were told our tuition would have been around 19k osap gave us 26k the whole funds went to the school , they changed the tuition price as soon as we started and said it was a marketing mistake , we didn’t get anything for our personal use students struggled as we were in class from 9am till7pm we couldn’t work ,alot of students dropped out because of this and no money was returned. We had teachers who didn’t show up & no support 😭 most stressful year

I highly doubt that majority of students are abusing it. And if some few are, oh well they still have to pay the OSAP portion back.

Crazy how they want us to be educated so we dont live off of the government but also single handedly forces us to be bc we cant afford ANYTHING. and take away any way of getting a better paying career to be able to pay off debt. wild

When I was on OSAP I had to work my way through college in order to make ends meet. I had to work to get my bus pass and had to beg family members in order to pay for my books. I was not buying anything luxury. in fact, I had gotten so good at finding a bargain brand computer that I ended up getting a job in it for 6 months after graduation in a completely different field

I’ve said this so many times. I don’t mind OSAP being loans to pay back when I have an established career. But why is there interest? That turns it from “it’s too costly to just give money away” to “we actually profit from poor students” if it’s not sustainable to give grants… keep the loan percentage high. Get rid of the interest. You get every cent you invested back.

I worked for a provincial student aid. The private colleges were the worst offenders of the student loans

Thank you for your platform. I agree with everything you said. I was lucky enough to grow up in the 70’s and 80’s. If it wasn’t for OSAP I wouldn’t have been able to afford a secondary education. You are a great speaker. Please continue to speak up!!!

I think what we really need to push for is electoral reform, because unfortunately too much of Ontario will vote conservative no matter what. I’m sick of throwing my progressive vote away every election. We need a repersentative voting structure and we need people to actually vote.

Has anyone listed who these 7 career colleges are? Who are the owners of these colleges (since they are private then they have owners). Please get names out there!!!

🚨 REVEREND ISAAC OMOLEHIN SPARKS DEBATE OVER NIGERIAN PASTORS' WEALTH AND CHURCH ACCOUNTABILITY! A viral video of Reverend Isaac Omolehin has reignited a serious conversation about religion, personal wealth and the responsibilities of church leadership in Nigeria. In the video, the preacher questions the claim that five of the world's ten richest pastors are Nigerians, while Nigerian churches are reportedly missing from the list of the world's richest churches. He also points to the Roman Catholic Church and the Pope as part of his argument. But here is the twist: fact-checkers who contacted Forbes and the World Council of Churches found that neither organisation had published the alleged global ranking. Nevertheless, the debate raises an important question that deserves an honest answer. Millions of Nigerians worship faithfully, give offerings and pay tithes because they believe they are contributing to the work of God. Many are also struggling with rising living costs and difficult economic conditions. So, beyond the beautiful church buildings, expensive lifestyles and claims of financial success, what should truly define a successful ministry? Should it be the wealth of its founder, or the positive impact it makes on the lives of ordinary people? Churches also provide essential support, education, healthcare and charity in many communities. The conversation should therefore be about transparency, accountability and measurable impact, not assumptions that every wealthy pastor has done something wrong. IF A CHURCH IS GROWING FINANCIALLY, HOW MUCH SHOULD ITS MEMBERS KNOW ABOUT HOW THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS ARE USED? This is a conversation about faith, responsibility and trust. Let's discuss it respectfully. 👇 What is your take on Reverend Isaac Omolehin's argument? Do you agree with his concern, or do you see things differently? #DavidKingTV #IsaacOmolehin #NigeriaNews #ChurchAccountability #TrendingVideo
