For those of you that don’t understand math….. if you borrow $500 that’s the total of the loan. Typically banks or cards charge a percentage of the loan. Commonly 1.2 - 1.6 multiplier meaning the whole of the loan and then 30-60 percent of the total is due back to the lender in addition to the $500. This woman skipped fractions and agreed to pay back $500x9.0=$4,500.00 but also has to pay back the $500 loan meaning she got $500 but needs to pay the lender $5,000 for borrowing the original 500 I hope this helps.
