Honestly I think it’s up to the people that are planning the wedding to make sure that everything is on point but if your son is not making a big deal about it why I gave him an insecurity and make him feel like an Afterthought if he doesn’t feel that way then leave it at that

Absolutely not, that was his father and his new stepmother’s responsibility. There’s no way I would be allowing him to blame me for that at all. We would be having a tough conversation about what actually happened because 13 years old is too old to be blaming you for something you had absolutely nothing to do with.

My dad got remarried and my mom made it clear that if he wanted us at the wedding, it was his responsibility to provide the needed information attire and transportation, and my grandma made sure that it happened She wasn’t being bitter. She just wanted to know that he put in enough effort to care about his kids being there.
