@gerardrennick70: DON’T TRUST THE COALITION WHEN IT COMES TO IMMIGRATION. THEY ARE IN THE BACK POCKET OF BIG BUSINESS. While it’s better late than never to see the Coalition introduce a policy to lower immigration the fact is you can’t trust them. I well remember the Coalition backflipping on net zero and they will do it again on immigration. Why? Because big business don’t like it and will tell the Liberal party to break their promise if they want donations. Furthermore their policy replicates the People First Policy in terms of numbers and programs - namely cutting student visas and bridging visas. The fact that both the Coalition and One Nation have copied our immigration policy in terms of targeting specific programs shows how we are making a difference. To help us to continue to influence good policy please support us at Peoplefirstparty.au •••••••••••••••• “The Coalition has unveiled a plan to drive net overseas migration down to 100,000 for two years through major changes to graduate, humanitarian and other visa programs. It would go further than Labor's migration targets while increasing skilled migration, but the Coalition has not released modelling of the broader economic impact.”
