Authorities say the girl is safe and receiving care from local officials. The investigation began after a newborn, known as “Baby Angelita,” was found dead beside Struve Road in Monterey County, California, on August 1. Investigators identified Perez and his daughter as the baby’s biological parents. Perez faces felony charges of a lewd act upon a minor, incest and child abuse. The girl’s mother has also been charged with child endangerment. Prosecutors say the teenager is being treated as a victim, with her safety and access to support their priority.#fyp #viral
