Engineers, listen up. Makinig kayo. Same pump, same pipe, same 150 meters. Where do you put the tank and the sensor in your Constant Pressure System (CPS)? 🅰️ Scenario A: tank and sensor at the houses 🅱️ Scenario B: tank and sensor at the pump For a residential job, we lean towards A. In this video we go through the advantages and disadvantages of both: A: real constant pressure at the houses, with the tank cushioning the burst and the hammer. The cost is a harder service, a 150 m signal cable, control tuning, and a higher install cost. B: easy to service and cheaper to install. But it holds pressure at the pump, not at the houses, so the houses see about 3.8 bar with one house using water and about 2 bar with all three. Short distance, put it anywhere. Long distance, put it where the water is used. 📌 Assumptions: PVC, 1" pipe, 1 L/s total, 4 bar setpoint. All numbers are approximate. Actual results depend on pipe size, material, and flow. Which one would you pick, A or B? Comment below. 👇 #PumpExperts #PumpExpertsPH #CPS #ConstantPressureSystem #VFD
