A small old Newari shop that my grandfather named ‘GYANLAL’ owned, where my parents have worked for 20+ years, has something anyone can't manufacture with expensive decor : history, consistency, and food that has been made by a family for generations. And yes there is nothing fancy about the ambience; the main thing we've always cared about is the food.
