oh steve. they need to get your pain and nausea under control. have you looking into the palliative care? it is NOT hospice. it’s more so comfort care and they have wayyy more resources than you and Spencer trying to figure it out for yourselves. you can still get all of the treatments you need but just with extra help and resources.

Hey, Steve! I had the same feeling when I lost a staggering amount of weight during my cancer journey. I was drinking 3 ensure plus drinks a day to help get more protein and calories in an easy to digest/stomach format ontop of solid foods during the daytime. It helped immensely to regain the 30 lbs I lost and I started feeling like I had more energy.

what are you drinking? When i had my ileostomy, my liver doctor told me to drink crystal lite. My sodium kept dropping. It made a huge difference. Im sure they are testing yours. Check your My chart test results. I am so sorry. I remember being so devoid of energy.

Suggesting meal replacement protein drinks like Ensure or Boost. If cheese is hard on your system, it's not worth the pain you're going through. Not trying to be critical, just trying to help you find answers.

Are you able to make an appointment for fluids, IV antiemetics, labs, and possible electrolytes? If you’re dehydrated or your electrolytes are low, it can definitely contribute to you feeling awful, plus getting a IV dose of antiemetics may help you get on top of your nausea so your oral meds can keep up.
