Common sense plane etiquette when moving seats is to ask the flight attendant if you can move once they are done completing their manifest. Sometimes they purposely leave rows/seats open due to weight balance distribution, but if not, usually they will let you move if you ask nicely and be patient until they give you the green light instead. If you just moved by yourself when I was trying to do my job I would tell you to move back to your assigned seat too.

You can't move because nobody is sitting there. It is for the purpose of if there were a crash. They can identify who was sitting where. They have record of that. Window seats cost different than isle seats. You can't sit wherever you want.

So nobody knows why this person moved over. i have a car every time I get in my car.My left leg goes numb simply from the way the seat is positioned inside the car. so maybe she wanted to look out the window.What's the big deal. it's not like she shifted five thousand pounds of weight inside the aircraft. she moved her little one hundred and forty pound body over twenty four inches, that doesn't affect anything. everybody say worried about somebody following the rules.Meanwhile, you got a president up there.Who's a registered sex offender?Nobody's worried about that. everybody wants to cry who entitled entitled karen.My godShe wants to move over to a different seat.Where there are obviously six empty f****** chairs who gives a f***. why can't he give her a legitimate reason for why she can't move over 24 inches? Come on he's ridiculous. i've actually changed seats in an airplane myself because I was sitting in an area where the roar of the engines. We're killing my eardrums when I was a small child. So they moved me, I actually sat on the plane with cups over my ears to block out the sound. when someone has nothing to do but worry about a plane, that's virtually empty and somebody moves over two feet.Then somebody's got absolutely nothing to do in life. i mean, he doesn't have some orders to take or some drinks to prepare or something for god's sake.
