okay here's the actual routine, not a highlight reel one page of nihongo so-matome a day literally one page. the book is built that way - one page a day, six weeks, done. read the grammar point, do the little exercise under it, close the book. you do not have to memorize it. you just have to have seen it once before you meet it in the wild. i know one page a day feels too light. it isn't. one episode on netflix, japanese subs on one episode. not a season. don't try to understand everything - go hunting for the grammar point you just read and catch it being used by an actual human. when a line sounds cool, say it out loud once or twice. english subs are okay at the very start, but keep your ears on the rhythm. then say it out loud on Kana - Language Partner this is the part i skipped for a whole year. i take the phrase from the book into a roleplay - ordering at a cafe, asking where something is - or just free talk about my day. it answers out loud, so i hear the sentence come back at me and i copy it. if it comes out mangled i just say it again. free to start, and nobody is sitting there waiting on me. imperfect and daily beats perfect and never you don't need 100 percent of the episode. you don't need perfect japanese in a five-minute chat. on a busy day: one grammar point plus five minutes of talking equals a win. natives stumble and restart sentences constantly. volume and speed beat accuracy. so stop polishing and just use it. #learnjapanese #japanesestudy #studytok #jlpt #fyp
